Finis Terræ is a hardcover book in size 206mm x 186mm x 9mm. It was published by Finnish photography book publishing house Musta Taide in 2007, in an edition of 1500 copies. The book consists of a short preface by the artist, a short story by Finnish editor and journalist Elias Krohn, and 19 black and white photographs. The photographs are from the places where water meets the land, places of land’s end, which have fascinated me since my childhood.

The book is quattrotone offset printed on a high quality paper, Galerie Art Matt 150g, which means that the photographs were printed with four different colors: three different blacks and one toning color. The toning color was either blue or brown, to imitate the final tone of a darkroom made gelatin silver photograph, which Katri usually tones with selenium or selenosulfide toner.
