In 2021 when the Covid restrictions came down a bit and I felt like suffocating after all the lockdowns, I left by myself to the Scottish Highlands. I had never been to Scotland before, but had dreamt about the place for a long time. I drove around in there for ten days, stayed in small homestays and trekked around in the moors. I took a ferry to the Outer Hebrides and came back by the Isle of Skye. Never have I felt more rested than after this trip, even though there came snow on the mountains on the last day, and driving back to Inverness was quite an adventure.
