Photography portfolio Ilmanranta – Éire is part of the triptych formed by the book Finis Terræ and two portfolios, Éire and Mare. Éire is about places in Ireland, where the air meets with the land and consists thus poetic encounters with the Irish landscape. The original forms of the photographs are gelatin silver prints photographed on Pentax 6x7 medium format camera. In the portfolio is included a poem commissioned from Caítlin O’Loughney, an extraordinary poet who is known only by a handful of people.
The portfolio consists of 10 pigment ink prints on archival quality Hahnemühle paper and one original hand made gelatin silver print signed by the artist. The portfolio is published in the edition of 50 copies in legendary OPUS series founded by Pentti Sammallahti and is respectively the OPUS number 48.
