The latest travel I made was to South-West China and Tibet in summer 2016. During the five week trip I encountered fascinating persons and saw many wonderful places, difficult to describe or shouw in their entirety. When I returned, I had with me hundreds of new negatives. During the travel apart from my old and trusty Rolleiflex I used also an old Leica. In the small restaurants and on the streets of Lhasa I found it easy and extremely pleasant to use. Focusing was fast and it was easier than before to meet people and start discussions with them. The fascination of Cartier-Bresson’s street photography opened up for me in a whole new way.
